    The highlight of my day is coming home after work and hanging out with my husband. During the day, I work as an articling student in corporate law.

    ⁠Most people don’t know that I love teaching! I taught math at all levels before starting my legal career.

    My favorite book is Crime and Punishment by Dostoyevsky. It’s a timeless novel about morality and choice.

    ⁠My favourite seminary class is Liat’s Shalom Bayit class. It’s important to learn about relationships so I can really show up in my life.

    My favourite part of the day is going on a walk in nature and listening to a shiur.

    Most people don’t know that ⁠I love to act and sing.

    The book Life is a Test by Rebbetzin Jungreis. I love all of her books but this was the first one I read and it has beautiful values and lessons that really speak to me.

    I don’t have a favourite class. We are blessed to have amazing classes!

    The highlight of my day is spending time with those I love and learning Torah in any way I can.

    Most people don’t know that I am the only person born in Canada within my immediate family.

    My favourite classes are the halacha classes since they always teach me something new and open my eyes to a brand new way of looking at different halachas.

    My ideal day would be spent with people I love doing something new together such as going on a new hike, trying a new activity, or going to a new place.

    Most people don’t know that I’m ambidextrous, I use both my left and right hand.

    My favourite book is The French Lieutenant’s Woman by John Fowles. It was the first time I’ve experienced an author’s meta perception of himself writing the book, as he was writing the book.

    My favourite classes are both halacha classes. I’ve grown so much in my Judaism over the years and it feels both productive and satisfying to be able to learn the practical ways of living it out.

    As a mortgage broker, I spend most of my day in the office, but something I look forward to is going to the seminary classes where I get to see all of the amazing ladies, as well as be a part of wonderful lectures.

    Most people don’t know that I have played the piano since I was little, and I adore music.

    It’s very hard for me to choose one movie or one book, but if I had to choose it would be any Adam Sandler movie. I love a good comedy.

    All the classes are amazing, and teach me something different every time, but my favourite would have to be Liat Garelick’s class on relationships. Not only is Liat a very captivating and expressive speaker, but also the content of this class helps me in my everyday life with my partner.

    The highlight of my day is embracing opportunities to embody Jewish values and make a positive impact on the world.

    What most people don't know about me is the depth of my commitment to Judaism. My faith guides my actions and shapes my identity in ways that may not be immediately apparent to others.

    "Pay it Forward" is a movie where a young boy encourages each person who receives a favour to pay it forward by doing something kind for three other people. I love this film because it shows the power that Chessed has to repair the world.

    My favourite class is Halacha with Rabbi Lander. I did not grow up Shabbat observant. The way that he breaks down the laws of Shabbas makes it easy for me to understand and refine my practice.

    I love to wake up in the morning with gratitude to Hashem for giving me another opportunity to fulfill my purpose in this world. Saying the morning prayers helps me focus on what matters most - my connection with Hashem, my connection with myself, and my connection with others.

    I love just about anything to do with water! Water skiing, swimming, and paddle boarding are among my favourite summer activities!

    My favourite book is Man’s Search for Meaning by Victor Frankl. His message is so important for psychological well-being in our time: We cannot necessarily choose our circumstances in life, but we do have freedom of choice regarding our attitude and how to respond to challenges.

    My favourite class is Hilchot Shabbat because I enjoy learning the intricate details and the in-depth reasoning underlying what actions are permitted and forbidden on Shabbat. Every week I learn something new and surprising.

    My highlight of the average day is finding simple pleasures; whether it’s the first sip of coffee of the day or finding out that my mom is making my favourite meal for dinner.

    Something that most people don’t know about me is that I danced until I was 13 and I really loved tap dancing. Sometimes I wish I could pick it up again.

    My favourite book is Tuesday’s with Morrie. It’s such a beautiful story and I’ve read it multiple times, noticing and enjoying new details each time. My favourite movie is Mamma Mia. I have such great memories of singing all the songs with my mom and some of my close friends.

    My favourite seminary class is Parsha with Rabbi Rubanowitz. His passion with every class he teaches is so inspiring and it’s a beautiful reminder that each week we have new lessons to learn through the parsha.

    The highlight of my day working as a preschool morah is teaching the children about Shabbat and the Jewish holidays.

    ⁠I’m obsessed with personality tests like the MBTI and Enneagram.

    My favourite book is “Emunah with Love and Chicken Soup” by Sara Yocheved Rigler. This book taught me how I should aspire to live a life of chesed (kindness) and emunah (faith).

    ⁠My favourite class in the seminary is Parsha with Rabbi Rubanowitz. This class always makes the weekly Parsha feel fresh and relevant.

    My favourite book is Girl in Pieces by Kathleen Glasgow because she discusses mental health in such a raw and emotional way.

    My favourite seminary class is parsha because Rabbi Rabanowitz always has the most interesting insights into the parsha that leave me feeling inspired.

    When I'm not at work I like to go for hikes and hang out with my kitty. I will never say no to sharing a glass of wine and good food with a friend.

    Most people don't know a lot about me. But if I have to share, I'm the proud granddaughter of a Holocaust survivor.

    My favorite movie is Shawshank Redemption, it truly shows the epitome of not giving up hope. Hope will set you free.

    My favourite seminary class is Jewish history with Mrs. Weinstock. It's important to know where you come from to know where you're going.

    My highlight of my day is when I finish all my chores and come home to a clean and organized space. My mind is free and I can completely relax and can take care of myself.

    ⁠I am very empathetic, have an unhealthy obsession with watching animal rescue videos. Seeing their transformations from abusive and neglectful upbringings to thriving and enjoying life really lights me up.

    ⁠I love the Alchemist - it is one of very few fiction novels that I have agreed to and enjoyed reading. There are lots of beautiful lessons and morals hidden within an easy to read story.

    I have only attended a few classes so far and really enjoyed the Mental Health and Torah with Rabbi Krongold. As someone without much Jewish education, I feel like this is a course I can keep up with.

    My favourite seminary class is Liat’s Sunday morning class. It is incredible because it really dives into who you are and what you need for your future to be filled with happiness and other essentials.

    Something most people don't know about me is I used to do ballroom and Latin dancing competitively!

    My favorite book is probably Circle Arrow Spiral! I read it cover to cover in less than a day! It had me hooked with its deep insights.

    My favorite seminary classes are the Parsha class and the Hilchot Shabbat classes because of the new takes and deep learning that has practical aspects!

    My favourite movie right now is Click with Adam Sandler. It truly helps you appreciate life in all of its forms, especially the seemingly mundane moments.

    My favourite seminary class is Mental Health and Torah with Rabbi Krongold. I love the philosophical and ideological debates we have in this class.
